Thirty-five years ago, the Wynn Park Residential Association was established. The Association identified three key needs: improving the neighborhood surroundings, maintaining acceptable community standards, and encouraging friendly, social relationships. It was felt that these needs would best be met through a local group made up of the residents of this retirement community. This eventually let to the founding of the Wynn Park Residential Association in 1990.
The Association has recently disbanded after 35 years. Lucy Leblanc dropped into our Foundation in the Spring and gave a generous donation of almost $1500 on behalf of the Wynn Park Residential Association and dedicated the gift to our Foundation’s Greatest Need Fund.
